Simple Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse

  • 1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
  • ½ cup  raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup  Stevia or Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla paste
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • cup lightly roasted and peeled hazelnuts
  • 2 just-ripe bananas, peeled
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon


  • Place the roasted and peeled hazelnuts into a food processor and process for 4-5 minutes, until mixture is smooth.
  • Add the Avocado, Bananas, Sweetener, Cocoa Powder, Vanilla Paste and Sea Salt. Process all of the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may have to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
  • Divide the Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse into serving glasses and place in the fridge for at least an hour.
  • Serve the Chocolate Hazelnut mousse with your favourite toppings.I'd recommend smashed berries, banana slices or salted nuts!
